Renowned for his interpretations of core repertoire, Ponti also champions contemporary music, collaborating with luminaries such as Kenneth Fuchs, Jennifer Higdon, and Roberto Sierra. He, has partnered with world-class soloists, including Ann-Marie McDermott, Glenn Dicterow, Joseph Alessi, Philippe Quint, and David Kim, delivering performances that consistently receive critical acclaim.
Equally adept in the operatic realm, Ponti serves as Music Director and Principal Conductor of Italia Konzert Opera Internationale, where he has led triumphant productions of Tosca, Aida, Carmen, and La Bohème.
